Support Engineer – Technical Audit
My client are looking for a Support Engineer with strong documentation and auditing experience to work on a large auditing and compliance project. The role will involve liaising with multiple users and stakeholders across all levels, therefore excellent communication skills are required.
The successful Support Engineer will have solid experience of carrying out discovery exercises, conducting inventory of systems and devices and working with senior stakeholders and users improve vendor relationship management.
This role also demands strong Desktop, Network and Systems Support knowledge to 2nd Line level. The contract will include working with users to identify all servers and shared folders. There will also be work with application business owners to identify the systems that generated data and how that data is used.
The project will involve reviewing the access controls on various devices, ensuring that Regular and Admin Users are identified and managed. The successful contractor will also work on the Audit Trail and catalogue the physical media onsite.
