Desktop Support Engineer – Pharmaceutical Essential

My client, a pharmaceutical company, are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join their team and work on a large-scale IT audit and compliance project. Previous experience of working in the Pharmaceutical or medical research environment is essential.

This role requires a strong technical background with experience of providing 2nd line Desktop, Network and Systems support across a range of infrastructure technologies. Tasks will include liaising with multiple users and stakeholders across all levels, therefore excellent communication skills are required.

The successful Support Engineer will have solid experience of carrying out discovery exercises, conducting inventory of systems and devices and working with senior stakeholders and users improve vendor relationship management.

This role will require regular presence on-site.
